Starting School for the first time in September 2024
The closing date for applications for the September 2024 intake is 15th January 2024.
Decision letters will be sent out the week commencing 15th April 2024.

General Information
Glenleigh Park Primary Academy is a two form entry school.
Glenleigh Park Primary Academy participates in the Local Authority's In-Year coordinated admissions scheme. If you wish to apply for a place at our school outside the normal point of entry (i.e. not for Reception class), please follow this link to the council's website: click here for more.
We are currently full in some year groups but we are always happy to welcome new pupils where we have space.
We are proud of our transition arrangements for pupils starting school for the first time and for those who join us from other schools. We would be very happy to arrange a tour of the school and answer any questions you may have. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.

Consultation notice: Admissions arrangements for Glenleigh Park Primary Academy 2025-2026
Aurora Academies Trust is consulting on the admission arrangements for Glenleigh Park Primary Academy for 2025-2026 as it is required to do under the School Admissions Code 2021. The consultation is open from 30 October to 10 December, and details including a copy of the proposed arrangements can be found below.
The following changes are proposed
Add as criterion 2:
“Children of staff who have been continuously employed for at least two years [Children of all staff are defined as follows:
All full-time teaching staff
All full-time support staff – defined as those on 37 weeks and above contracts
All part time teaching staff with a 45% and above timetable
All part time support staff who work at least 15 hours per week for 37 weeks or more
The definition does not include contract staff. The definition does not include peripatetic staff.
The continuously employed for two-year qualification period may be waived if a post is hard to fill and has remained vacant for one term or longer (skills shortage).]
Please complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) if applying under this criterion. SIFs are available from the school, downloadable from the website or can be obtained via the Local Authority. The SIF must be returned to the school by the agreed deadline.”
