Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the final Head of School update for this academic year.

It has been a particularly busy week – the children have participated in Sports Days, beach trips, zorbing, pirate day and year 2 finally went on their school trip to Battle Abbey today.

In addition, all of the children met their new class teacher yesterday afternoon and visited their new classroom. It was an extremely exciting event and the children had a great time, despite our year 5 bubble closing. I hope that the children shared their excitement with you and that the year 5 children have been able to access the video messages from their year 6 teachers on Purple Mash.  

Sadly for us, Mrs Blake will be leaving us at the end of term as she will be moving to a school closer to her. I would like to take this opportunity to say an extra special thank you to Mrs Blake, she has been an asset to the Glenleigh Park team.  I am sure you will all join me in wishing her the very best.  We will miss her!

At the start of this week you should have received your child’s report, as always if there is anything you are unsure of, please let the office team know and we will ensure the right person gets in touch with you.

Finally, thank you to all parents and carers for your amazing support and understanding throughout this somewhat unsettled year. We really appreciate your support.
